Dame Joan Sutherland, surnommée "La Stupenda", a marqué l'histoire de l'opéra avec sa performance inoubliable dans "Lucia di Lammermoor". Son interprétation de la célèbre "scène de la folie" est un moment de pure magie vocale qui a captivé des générations de mélomanes. Ce rôle a propulsé Sutherland vers la renommée internationale en 1959 et reste l'un de ses plus grands triomphes.
L'album, d'une durée de 2 heures et 26 minutes, est une immersion complète dans l'œuvre de Donizetti. Les 30 pistes, organisées en trois actes, vous transportent à travers les scènes dramatiques et les airs lyriques de cette tragédie romantique.
